As the winds have shifted, bringing a change in temperatures, our (th)inner compasses steered us to embrace our sea legs, sans spanx, at Red Lobster's Lobsterfest.
Channeling Sally Draper in the Hamptons, we wore our best trophy-wife-worthy looqs and plunged gut-first into the suburban seafront. But not after consulting a few seasoned sailors who were quick to warn of the golden treasure: Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
After realizing the biscuits mirrored our appetites - endless, we celebrated with a crimson-colored lobster feast. Served with buttery mashed potatoes and a separate ramekin of butter for dousing, the shellfish was garnished with low-calorie broccoli and our adoration.
"IS THE BROCCOLI TO EAT OR JUST FOR GARNISH?"
When life gifts you large appendages and tiny forks, be resourceful and employ all hands on deck. Top off the meal with a geedunk of ultra-vitamin light.
If there is one thing Red Lobster taught us it's that a red sky at night is delicious or whatever.
